EXPERIENCES
We believe that experience can turn a special yacht charter into an extra special one. Take a look at our suggestions and do not hesitate to contact our office for further details and recommendations.
Cannes
Cannes was found by the British Chancellor and Lord Brougham who stumbled upon the sublime setting in 1834. Like any good businessman, he snapped up the coast cheaply, selling land on to lesser European aristocrats at exorbitant rates. A care free generation of writers and artists, from F. Scott Fitzgerald to Jean Cocteau, arrived in the 1920s. Enjoy walking by the famous Croisette filled with luxury shops and passe by very well known palaces such as Martinez, Carlton, Marriott and Majestic. Cannes city is also well known for the famous annual Cannes Film Festival.
Mandelieu
Enjoy the unique landscape of the Bay of Mandelieu and Esterel with the presence of red rocks and mountains. A very well known spot of the Côte d’Azur. You will be amazed by the small bays and the crystal clear waters.
Discover the Mandelieu La Napoule castle, which stands majestically above the water. You can disembark and go for a visit. Have a swim at The Raguette beach whith white sand situated near the castle of la Napoule.
You can also make a stop at the port of La Rague, which is a small port where you can enjoy the scenery and restaurants.
Other activities – GRASSE
Grasse is very well known as the perfume world capital. It is a birth place of many fragrances. Grasse offers an opportunity for visitors to challenge and develop one of the most under-rated of our senses and to, quite literally, wake up and smell the roses. We will be more than happy to organise for you a private visit of the city, the Fragonard perfume factory where you can even create your own perfume.
When the essence of jasmine, may roses, and lavender are becoming a little too much, then it’s a sign that you should take the opportunity to wander around the picture postcard streets of Grasse. Grasse’s old town is a little shabby in parts, but this simply adds to its charm.
